The summer of 2011 was spent in the warm and dreamy Boston. I spent my days - in between ballet classes at the Boston Ballet School - wandering the red brick streets, dancing in the hot evenings and, on one of our free days, trekking out to Harvard University in Cambridge.
The red line train goes direct from the centre of Boston to Cambridge; get off at Harvard station. From there, you have direct access to walking through the university town.
Highlights included the book shop, which reminded me of something out of a Harry Potter novel, and the wrought iron entrance gates. Walking through so many hundreds of years of history was fascinating in itself, and led to day dreams of enrolling in such a prestigious place. For now, a soft sweater emblazened with the word Harvard will have to do.
