The hike up to Whyte Lake in West Vancouver is a short one ending at a lovely little lake which is perfect for a warm, refreshing dip after your climb. We hiked to Whyte Lake in the middle of an air advisory warning due to the BC forest fires, so the sky was sadly more grey than usual.
When: year-round
Where: West Vancouver near Horseshoe Bay
Difficulty: easy
Length: forty-five minutes for the 5km roundtrip
