Visiting Kelingking Beach

Kelingking Beach might just be one of the most well-known views in all of Indonesia, thanks to Instagram. This beautiful beach famously looks like a t-rex and is home to quite possibly the bluest water I've ever seen.

How to Get to Kelingking Beach

As the quality of the roads on western Nusa Penida are really quite awful, I don't recommend riding a scooter here and instead hiring a driver for the day to take you to all the different spots you'd like to visit. Be prepared that there are loads of tourists here all fighting for that perfect shot! Patience works well here 😉

Visiting Kelingking Beach

You can walk the stairs down to the beach, although be warned as the last half of the hike is a literal climb and you will end up head to toe in sand. It's not easy and should only be attempted in safe footwear (absolutely no flip flops!).
