On a rainy Sunday morning, I lay in bed scrolling through Instagram trying to see if I could find some sort of outdoor adventure that was doable in muddy, wet weather. Soon after, Dad and I drove for over an hour in the rain listening to rainy day jazz. The hike was a quick scramble up to the beautiful, loud and crashing Cascade Falls, complete with multiple viewing decks and a water-drenched metal suspension bridge. Thrilling, to say the least.
