The idyllic Buntzen Lake situated just north of Coquitlam is a popular family spot and offers multiple waterfront beach, picnic and off-leash dog areas. You can't hear anything but the faint whirring of the BC hydro dam that is in operation in the area, and you may catch sight of a black bear, if you're careful and lucky! My favourite spot on this trail is the bridge hanging across the lake offering a moody photo backdrop for that perfect Instagram shot!
