Brunch Guide for Sydney, Australia

Sydney is my favourite city in Australia, having been my first entry point into Australia back in 2019 when I first visited the country and subsequently the place I was most excited to go back and explore when I returned in 2025.

Sydney is the capital of New South Wales, one of Australia's states, nestled on the southeastern coast. Famous for its beaches, Sydney is home to a vibrant city life.

Brunch culture is unrivaled in Australia and, with Sydney being the biggest city in the country, you're bound to find countless dining options to suit absolutely every palate imaginable and there is just no way to try it all, not even in one lifetime. But I've had some wonderful brunches and I wanted to compile them into one easy guide to share with you.

I'll keep updating this list as I continue to sample more yummy spots on future visits!

Laughin' Boy

Located outside of Sydney, this is still worth a mention. It was near the place where we bought our campervan and we actually came here to celebrate that big purchase! Right on the river with a gorgeous view from their outdoor terrace, the menu at Laughin' Boy is mouthwateringly good.

Location: Rower's View Road, Emu Plains
