On a sunny Sunday, Sam and I drove up the Sea to Sky Highway to the pull out with the little hut where the Tunnel Bluffs trail starts. The parking is notoriously awful here as there is only 10 spots at the base of the hike. Don't park in the bus spots as you will be towed; tow trucks were on site the whole time we were hiking. There is another parking lot about 20 minutes up the highway so if the first lot fills, head there.
The start of the hike is right across the road from the parking lot through a little bush. The first thing you’ll see is a yellow sign pointing out the start of the hike and then a few feet up is a hand-drawn map. The trail is very clearly marked and you cannot go wrong, so long as you follow the bright markers. It’s a steep trail, and while not long in length, can be tiring due to the constant up-stepping.
The view at the top was absolutely unreal – I think the only downside to this hike was that due to it’s rapidly increasing popularity, we spent more time stepping to the side of the trail to let others pass than just being able to hike; it’s a busy one!
