Polar Bear Swim at Wreck Beach

For some ridiculous reason, in below-zero temperatures, some friends and I decided that it would be a good idea to join in on our university's 2nd Annual Polar Bear Swim.

Essentially, a couple thousand UBC students make their way down the couple hundred wooden steps to our campus' very own Wreck Beach and run into the freezing cold Pacific Ocean in weather-inappropriate clothing as a way to symbolize the official end of the semester and the start of a really not enjoyable few weeks of exam prep. So basically we're crazy.
