A digital map featuring nearly 100 of my favourite restaurants for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner; cafes; drink spots; dessert places; mountain huts and even some farm markets.

Mainly in Salzburg with recommendations further into the state of Salzburgerland plus a few bonus places I’ve tried and loved across the country to fuel your Austrian adventures.

Can be accessed on your phone or desktop browser using Google Maps including nearly 100 pins with images (both) as well as extra information and a link to my my relevant blog post to read more (desktop version only).

Ensure you purchase using a Google email address as it is based in Google Maps. I have to provide access to the map manually for you. After you purchase a map, within 24 hours you will receive direct access from Google Maps to the email address you provided – it will show up in your Google Maps app automatically!

Best of all, I never use AI for anything so all my recommendations, as well as this entire shop, are entirely human-powered based on years of my own experience photographing, writing, documenting, editing, traveling and, perhaps best of all, dining at every single restaurant I recommend here.

  • What is in the map?

  • How do I access the map?

I have to provide access to the map manually for you. After you purchase a map, within 24 hours you will receive direct access from Google Maps to the email address you provided – it will show up in your app automatically! As it is based in Google Maps, you must use a Google email address at the time of purchase in order to access it.

You can access the map on your phone using the Google Maps app or in your desktop browser on Google Maps or Google My Maps.

  • How long can I access the map?

You have lifetime access to the map! I endeavour to keep updating the map as I continue to visit places, but this is not guaranteed.

  • How can I temporarily hide the map on Google Maps?

Google Maps app on your phone: To temporarily hide the map, click on your profile icon on the top right. Under “saved”, select the map you wish to hide, tap the three dots and select “hide”. To show the map again later, return to “saved” and select “show” for the map you wish to show.

Google Maps on your desktop browser: To temporarily hide the map, click on “saved” in the left side bar, then on “maps”. Click on the map you wish to hide and then uncheck each category you don’t want to see on your map. To show the map again later, return to “saved” and “maps” and recheck each category.
