One of Vancouver’s hidden treasures are the cliffs at Lions Bay in West Vancouver, a popular spot for thrill-seekers and adventurers.
All that I’ve seen all over Instagram in the last few weeks is brightly coloured photos of 2.5 million tulips out at the Tulip Festival, just past Abbotsford on the highway.
Today, I am done.
I spent Thanksgiving in Whistler with Sam’s family and we spent the most perfect few days in the warm Autumn sunshine.
After a summer filled with hikes and lakes and waterfalls and views and sunsets, Sam and I decided to end our adventures with a 10-day road trip from Vancouver to Calgary.
Some of the most beautiful sunsets that I have been privy to watch have occurred at UBC, a beautifully spacious campus, surrounded on three sides by water, and dotted with a number of buildings from which the sunset can be glimpsed.
After our mishaps at Lighthouse Park, involving a raccoon and a backpack and a rock surrounded on three sides by the ocean, Sam and I left in a hurry in search of a better place to watch our beloved sunset from.
