Skiing at Whistler Blackcomb

Whistler is a world-famous ski resort, located a few hours north of Vancouver on the Sea to Sky Highway. People travel from all around the world to ski at this incredible place, home to two fantastic mountains: Blackcomb and Whistler Mountain. Between them, a high Peak-to-Peak Gondola is suspended, carrying skiers high across the snow-covered treetops.

Lift Tickets: buy online in advance and keep your eyes out for sales like the Black Friday 2 days-for-1 sale

Gear: if you don't own your own gear, head to Can-Ski to pick up your gear (ski boots, skis, poles, helmet)

Wear: thick socks, leggings, ski pants, long sleeved top, fleece shell, ski jacket, gloves, buff or neck warmer, goggles

Eat: all of the lodges at the top of the various chair lifts have cafeteria-style dining to satisfy your mid-ski day cravings!
