hike: whytecliff park

After our mishaps at Lighthouse Park, involving a raccoon and a backpack and a rock surrounded on three sides by the ocean, Sam and I left in a hurry in search of a better place to watch our beloved sunset from.

Whytecliff Park is just a few minutes drive away, a little more around the corner up along the Sea to Sky Highway, which in the end offered an even better view than we could have hoped for.

We traipsed up the rocks on the right side of the beach and into the bushes, to find a beautiful rock perch on which we could sit and watch the sun disappear behind the mountains, casting an orange glow across the rippled water.
