The Brothers Creek Loop itself is an easy one, and I didn’t see anyone but 3 sets of dog-walkers. The end top of the loop has a lovely little bridge crossing over Brothers Creek, from which the Lost Lake trail starts.
This hike starts along the section of the Baden Powell trail that runs from Grouse to Cypress. This is the only section of the BP that I have not fully completed, as there is no public transit up to the top of Cypress, rendering it quite a difficult one to plan in terms of getting there and back.
Earlier in the day, I had completed the Grouse Grind (see the first photo), walked around the Cleveland Dam area (see the second photo) and completed half of the Grouse to Cypress BP trail, so tacking on another trail after Brothers Creek seemed reasonable. Ha. I was exhausted after 7 hours of hiking, but I think they were all well worth it in the May heat.
