university of british columbia: museum of anthropology

When it’s raining in Vancouver (and really, when is it not?), take the day to check out the University of British Columbia’s stunning Museum of Anthropology.

The building sits on the north end of campus beyond the Rose Garden overlooking the ocean. Featuring over 1/2 million items, MOA is home to a state of the art contemporary collection of world cultures and art. The predominant focus of the collection is on the First Nations of the Pacific Northwest, on whose land UBC is built.

Entrance is free for UBC students, $18 for adults plusย there’s a $10 discount price on Thursday evenings!
